1st Postplacement Visit

Can you believe it that we had our 1st post placement visit? Crazy! We have been home about 4 months. Our homestudy agency wanted to make sure they had plenty of time to get everything complete so we could send our report on time. The visit went great. We did it after work, which you never know if Kaden will be in a good mood or cranky b/c he can be so tired from a day of playing at daycare. However Kaden did great. He sat with us most of the time with the social worker. He played with his toys and brought books to us. The social worker was impressed with how well Kaden has adjusted. For a 15 month old boy she said he appears to be right on track development wise, which is what our pediatrician has said too. I was a little nervous for the visit just b/c you never know what feedback you may get. If it wasn't positive did I really want to hear it, was my worry. However everything was positive so we were happy. We were also able to ask some questions we had too which was nice.
