It has been a while since I have posted. We have had a busy end of the summer. I am going to try and get caught up on all the things that have happened over these past couple weeks this week!
First off I have to start off by saying "Go Iowa State" even though we lost this past weekend to Iowa. However Kaden is showing off his support already for ISU! Also I think we are in trouble b/c he loves driving anything that he can, yikes, I'm not ready for that yet!
Aaron celebrated his birthday last week. This was the 1st time as a dad Aaron has been able to celebrate. We had a great night of staying in. Here is a picture of Daddy & Kaden celebrating!
We also have Kaden's surgery finally scheduled! He is going to have it Tuesday October 7th. Everything that is being done it pretty minor but we had to schedule with 3 doctors which took us 2 months to get this scheduled. Kaden will be having his little boy surgery, umbilical hernia, groin hernia, tubes in ears, & blocked tear duct all fixed that day. Its a lot for 1 day but we wanted to only put him down once and our pediatrician agreed. Please pray everything goes well. We are very thankful that everything is very minor and that Kaden has been so healthy since we have been home.
Kaden will also have his 2nd swallow test Sept 26th. We will then be able to see if we can stop thickening his liquids. Hopefully we get good results back from this. Kaden is also cutting his 1st set of teeth since he has been home. His top eye teeth are coming in. It just started this weekend so we still have a while before this will be done. Normally the 1 year molars come in first but not for Kaden! So far he has been pretty good, other than being a little cranky and he got sick the other night from it.
