Trip 2 Day 11- Friday May 23rd

Today I got the best birthday gift ever, I got to send the day with my 2 boys (Kaden & Aaron). We had a wonderful day with Kaden!! He was so happy. He smiled right away when he saw us. Today he started to say Da Da to us. We have been trying every time we see him to get him to say this. Well today was the day! We realize he doesn't understand this is daddy b/c in Russian Da is yes and is said all the time by the Russia people but it was still really fun to hear him say this. Hopefully soon he will understand this is daddy! Also as the caregiver was coming to take Kaden back to his room, he didn't want to go with her. He kept on playing with Aaron's zipper on his jacket. They told us this was a good sign b/c he wanted to stay with us.

We also found out today that we get to pick up Kaden on Tuesday! We can't wait, 4 more days! We switched apartments today too back to our 1st apartment. We are so happy to be back at this place. We really do like it. It is the perfect location, on Old Arbat Street. Also it is a lot bigger than the place we went to for 4 days.

Tonight we went out to dinner at Pasta Mommas. It was delicious! We went out to eat with Ron, Karyn & Norm, and Becky & Keith. We are sad to see Becky & Keith leave. It has been so much fun this week getting together in our group. Thank goodness we still have Karyn & Norm and Ron still here.

Thanks to everyone who has sent me a birthday wish today! It truly has been a wonderful day. We can't wait to bring out little one home so you can see the joy we have with him!
